About me

Hi! I'm Rasmus Moorats.
I'm an Estonian security researcher and penetration tester.
Professionally, I frequently work with web applications, networking devices, and perform hardware attacks such as TPM sniffing.
I'm particularly interested in IoT and networking device security, and have found multiple vulnerabilities across different vendors, some of which are listed on my CVEs page.
When I'm not reverse engineering router firmware, I also enjoy programming. My programming usually revolves around offensive security tools or programs to assist me in reverse engineering. Most of my projects are private, but I've listed a few public ones on the Projects page.
Outside of security work, I spend a lot of time with Linux and BSD systems. I'm comfortable working at the lower levels and figuring out how to run Linux in unusual places.
In my spare time, I dabble in hobby photography. I also quite enjoy biking and bikepacking.
If you'd like to get in contact with me, please see the Contact page.
